FAQ
Pricing, in plain English
The most common questions we get on discovery calls.
Why does pricing differ by role?
Because the market for each skill is different. A senior developer, an SDR and an EA all cost different amounts to hire and retain — pretending otherwise would either short-change the talent or overcharge you. Our pricing reflects the actual market rate for each role, so every hire is sustainable.
What's the difference between part-time and full-time?
Part-time is 20 hours per week, full-time is 40. Part-time is perfect for founders and small teams with a lighter scope. Full-time gives you full coverage during your business hours and is the most common configuration once you've scoped real work for the role.
What's included beyond the hire itself?
Every plan includes the full South Assistants workspace: the Client Dashboard, Kamva AI, Notetaker, Vault, Files, payroll and compliance, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. There are no add-on fees for the platform.
How does the 15% contract discount work?
After your first 3 months, you can switch to a 6 or 12 month contract and unlock 15% off for the contract term. You keep monthly billing — the contract just locks the rate. You can cancel at any time before the end of the 3-month probation without penalty.
Can I hire multiple roles?
Yes. Many clients start with one role (usually an EA) and add a second within 60 days — often an SDR or a designer. Each role is priced independently so you only pay for what you hire. Discounts on multi-role engagements are available on request.
What if the assistant isn't the right fit?
Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee has you covered. If you're not happy with the fit in the first 30 days, you won't be charged — we'll share a new shortlist within 48 hours and the transition week is free.
Do I pay the assistant directly?
No. Your assistant is employed by us. You get one simple monthly invoice in your currency of choice, and we handle payroll, taxes, benefits, leave and compliance on our side.
Can I upgrade to a senior / specialised hire?
Yes. We'll quote a senior upgrade on the discovery call based on your specific needs — for example a senior EA with C-suite experience, an outbound SDR with enterprise chops, or a senior full-stack developer. The listed prices are for our strong mid-level tier.
